Present perfect uses 'has/have' + past participle: 'I HAVE finished my work.' It talks about something started in the past but connected to now. Past perfect uses 'had' + past participle: 'I HAD finished before she came.'

Second conditional imagines an unreal situation now. 'If I HAD wings, I WOULD fly.' Use 'if' + past + 'would' + verb. It shows things not actually true.
