A bar graph shows data using bars. Taller bars mean bigger numbers. It makes it easy to compare — you can see straight away that mango is the most popular fruit!
When we tally, we make groups of 5: four lines then a cross line. In bigger data we can tally in 5s, 10s, or 20s to be faster. Ascending order means smallest to biggest; descending means biggest to smallest.
Arrange in ascending order (smallest first): 42, 18, 24

Arrange in descending order (biggest first): 15, 51, 35
